Introduction
By joining our SMS program provided by Coastline Counseling and Partners, you agree to receive recurring text messages (notifications, updates, and reminders) on the number you provide, under these Terms that adhere to TCPA (2025) and CTIA Best Practices.
1. Opt-In Consent
In accordance with the 2025 TCPA guidelines, your participation in our SMS service requires explicit one-to-one consent. This means that by opting in, you consent to receive messages from Coastline Counseling and Partners only. Consent cannot be shared with other companies or third parties without your direct approval.
You may opt in through the following methods:
- Web Form: Provide consent by checking a clearly labeled checkbox explicitly stating SMS program enrollment during intake or contact form submission.
- Verbal Consent: Offer verbal consent by clearly agreeing to SMS participation after being read a compliant SMS consent disclosure.
- NOTE: Verbal consent methods require an example transcript and call recording to be considered compliant. Please make sure this was done.
- Verbal Consent Example: By verbally agreeing, you consent to receive SMS messages from Coastline Counseling and Partners for appointment reminders and updates. Message frequency may vary but will not exceed 3 – 5 per day unless triggered by a notification event. Msg. & Data Rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. - Paper Form: Sign or complete a paper intake form with clear SMS consent language.
- NOTE: In-person paper form consent requires a signed physical document to be considered compliant. It should be on a company header or something official.

You will receive no more than 3–5, unless for urgent appointment notifications. Standard carrier rates apply.

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Significant changes will be sent via SMS or posted online. Continued participation implies acceptance.
